Out-of-Body
Warm Hug Experience
I had an out of body experience (OBE) last night.
I fell asleep like normal, and wasn’t really trying to have one, though I have decided to be more open to it lately.
It was the middle of the night, and I woke up in bed. My state of mind was very close to the OBE state of mind, and I started surfing and playing around.
I was playing with rotating my non-physical body in relation to my physical body. This is a fun game that I’ve played many times before. I slide my non-physical body in different directions, either off the bed, or fall through the bed at a rapid speed.
This is different than the falling sensation you get when you fall asleep, which I’ve seen attributed to the fact that your muscles are relaxing.
The experience I’m describing is actually perceiving myself falling through my bed. I can feel the movement of my non-physical body, and also feel a sort of wind blowing past me, as I accelerate. Sometimes I can see during this process, but usually I don’t bother trying to see, or my vision goes in and out.
When I was younger, this really bothered me, and I tried very hard to see. I’ve learned that it doesn’t matter. Sometimes I see, sometimes I don’t, and I just take whatever happens for what it is.
I’ve had experiences with non-human intelligence’s while out of body before, and lately I’ve been reading a lot about UFOs/UAPs, and watching documentaries on the phenomenon. I will write about my previous experiences in the future, but for now, it’s important to understand that I have been specifically opening myself up to non-human intelligence’s while in altered states of consciousness.
I think it’s important to state that I am not claiming any of this is real. I used to really stress out over proving whether an experience was real or not. I don’t do that any more. I just take it for what it is, and am open to it being a complete hallucination, or completely real, or somewhere in between. I don’t have an opinion.
So I started to perceive that a non-human intelligence was helping me or watching me out of body. I didn’t see anything, but I started to freak out a little bit. I directed a thought outward that I don’t think it’s a good idea to allow me to see the entity, or I will panic. I tried staying calm, but the experience feels pretty real in the moment, and it can be freaky.
I perceived the entity giving me a warm hug around my entire body. And by warm, I mean both emotionally warm, and physically warm. It helped to calm me down.
Soon after that, my vision started to become more clear, and I was in my childhood home. Someone else was living there though. This felt a little bit like a dream, but also felt a little bit like a continuation of the OBE – the vision was very dark and grayscale, which is common for me during an OBE.
I walked around the house rapidly, knowing that I would lose consciousness pretty quickly. I remember at some point thinking I was a ghost in the house, and concerned that I might scare the current owners, if they saw me.
I think I was in the house a bit longer, but I don’t remember what happened. Then I lost consciousness.
